About
About Musicrd
An independent label rooted on the Carolina coast.
Independent by design
Musicrd is an independent music label based in Oak Island, North Carolina. We release and promote original music from our own roster: the band Nowcat, singer-songwriter Richard D'Anjolell, and the project Thramp.
The sound moves between Americana, jam rock and power pop, with songs shaped by beach towns, long drives and small stages up and down the coast.
Nowcat's latest release, The Dunes Have Ears, was produced by Jamie Hoover of The Spongetones and recorded in Southport, NC. A new full-length album is coming soon.
